Wow, was the show incredible. The entire band was incredibly talented and had great showmanship to boot. As for my kids... it couldn't have gone better. Arik cam back to get his guitar near the end of the "last song" and made it back up front (the boys weasled into some closer vacant seats at another table) just in time for the end of the song. The band started an encore, but when Peter saw Arik with his half-size Ovation, he stopped the band and said (in total deadpan) "Uh oh, competition." He went over to Arik and said "Wow, let me see that - here hold mine" and gives Arik his guitar. He made a big show of signing it and showed it all around. The boys also got some posters autographed as well after the show. I wish more musicians were as gracious and kind as PW. What a great time! - -Robert ------------------------------ From: Phil Hall Date: Fri, 15 Nov 1996 19:57:53 -0500 (EST) Subject: Re: basia-digest V1 #281 On Thu, 14 Nov 1996, Diane F. Tootin yer own horn again, eh Di? Actually it is a great idea, actually. So here's mine: Dan, would you please settle this once and for all: Just what ARE those books you are flipping into your suitcase in the `Cruising' video?
