Several of us tried to order the CD from CD Banzai back in March when it was first listed, but with no luck. They said as recently as August that it was not available. (By the way guys, I exercised my six month option with them. They will keep me in the database until next year, in the unlikely event that this CD actually surfaces.) I just got a letter from a fan in Japan who saw my homepage and wanted to compliment me on it. Ben, I believe you know this fella - his name is Hideki? Seemed like a real nice guy... Anyway, Hideki included a list of CD singles that he owned and was wondering if I owned any myself. Of course, the ones that he listed were Japanese singles and... can you see where I'm going with this? Well, back around the time I initially found "Water of March" on CD Banzai, some of you may remember a couple conversations arising about some possible leftover live tracks that didn't appear on BOB - I mean, we had always wondered, "hey, whatever happened to 'More Fire Than Flame' or 'An Olive Tree'?" Remember what my answer was: "...don't be surprised if they turn up as side B's on some Japanese single." And, if you'll remember, one of the incarnations of WOM was possibly the carrier of these missing tracks... Anyway, at the same time I found WOM, you may remember that I also found a mysterious unnamed CD single: ESCA-6318. Since BOB's Japanese serial number was something along the lines of ESCA-6316, I assumed that it was the Japanese equivalent of the "Half a Minute" promo single. I assumed wrong.
