Was finally successful in obtaining over a quarter-million dollars to replace our recording console and do some mild renovations on the studio control room. That's keeping me busy. Also gearing up for the annual Audio Engineering Convention in LA, so I probably will be a "silent" supporter for awhile! BTW...welcome to our new members. We're very glad you're here! Also, in one of the posts I recall someone's father is ill. Best wishes - our thoughts are with you. Gotta run... Till the next post, remember these famous words of the Pope when he said to Michaelangelo... Hello people That is the first time I write here, so please forgive me if I don=A8t do it very well (also excuse me for my little english, it is not my first language) I have one question about the gold edition of Time and Tide: It is supposed that the Sony Legacy label are reissues, but sonically superior to the originals due to=20 =09 the use of audiophile recording techniques, including access =09 to the master tapes, to avoid sonic deterioration in the remix =09 process, but in the case of that album, that Basia says was=20 =09 recorded with synthetic instruments, is possible to gain quality? If anyone that has heard that album compared to the original one can tell me if it=A8s worth the extra money, please, do it!
