While looking through the `94 program (to get the facts for the reply to Phil's query about gold vs. platinum) I noticed something that I'd never really paid much attention to (I seem to do that alot...I guess I should just sit down once and for all and just study the thing with a fine tooth comb): Why the hell does Helen Whiting get a full bio credit? For awhile there, I thought she was just an extra backup singer who got dropped earlier in the tour and they just never bothered to change the book - but as it turns out, she does Basia's makeup. Could someone please explain this to me? Why give the makeup artist a whole bio credit, unless Basia is, well...really that vain. "I'd like to thank the woman who puts my face on everyday..." Is it that tough of a job? I mean, why not give Rachel Garvey a credit? Or the tour's lighting director...why doesn't he/she get a credit? What makes Helen Whiting so damn special...? Maybe there's more to Basia than meets the eye... :D (sorry, couldn't let that one by...) In Canada it's less (in fact, someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe in Canada, it's 100,000 for gold and 500,000 for silver). TSI rules. Lots of people are buying it and not owning up to it, that's the problem. I'm surprised it's not platinum yet. For the first time since I learned Peter is Al Stewart's guitarist I finally heard _Year of the Cat_ on the radio, so I followed it closely. It started out with the piano intro, and I think, 'Gee, not much guitar', then of course came the classic guitar bridge I had totally forgotten about, yet have heard thousands of times.
