This means that if you post from an address different from the address that you subscribed from, your post will be held for my approval. I am very busy, and haven't had time to keep up on the list lately, and I won't have alot of time to keep up on approving post. Please bear with me as this is hopefuly a temporary solution until I can get some spam-catching software worked into majordomo. - -Jeff ------------------------------ From: jacki@magicnet.net (Jacki) Date: Wed, 1 May 1996 01:56:11 -0400 Subject: Sender: owner-basia@smoe.org I haven't been around for a week, killed one computer and crippled the other... but I'm back now. I went out looking for Matt Bianco CDs again. This time I found 2. I didn't buy the one because I'm getting it from Roach, but I did buy Another Time Another Place. I take it this is one without Basia, because I didn't see her name listed anywhere. In the cover it says "Matt Bianco are Mark Reilly and Mark Fisher". So who the HELL is Matt Bianco? I can't believe he isn't a real person... what a scam. As for the music? I don't know, haven't really had the time to give it a good listening to. Jacki PS - Roach, snail... err, REAL mail coming your way on Thursday. (and if it's not there, it's not my fault) ------------------------------ From: "J.S. A big Dr. Who fan? My question is, what ISN'T this woman a fan of? Ben (if you can remember), where on earth did you see this article? > For those not in the know, Doctor Who was the longest running television > science fiction series ...and quite possibly the worst (sorry, I gotta call `em like I see `em). > although it was canceled by the BBC back around 1989 (??). ...just as it was starting to get good (in my opinion). > A TV movie will be showing May 14th on the US Fox network with a new > Doctor, so it looks like the show has regenerated again.> > Anyway, I remember reading that she had contributed either to a "Save > Doctor Who" album, or maybe a single. Am I crazy, or does anyone here > remember this too? If I'm right, then there is yet another track out > there to track down (pun intented). Was it a NEW track? Or just something pulled off of Time and Tide (ala the Greenpeace Rainbow Warriors album)? I've sometimes seen a listing for something called "Time and Again" underneath Basia listings but I figured it was just some nimrod getting the "Time and Tide" title wrong... And what the hell kinda tribute album could you have with the Dr. Who series? What would it be called? Hi folks! I'm new to this digest and of course a big Basia fan. I won't bother with details about myself. If anyone wants to know, e-mail me. About the ATTACK OF THE KILLER SPAM, I also subscribe to the Level 42 digest, run by Eric Hansen in Boston. We got so tired of the spam that he got some software to catch these people and refuse access to their post.. I was getting worried that there was noone out there. My first digest was a spam and the second started with one then everyone blasting it! If the person who is in charge of this digest wants more information on the spam filter, e-mail me and I'll get Eric's address to you. Have a great day! Whoever sent me the e-mail about spam catching, here is where you can find the info. I would have told you about it but this crap is Greek to me. Search for Level 42. Scroll down to Level 42 digest mailing list. Go to contents and cilck on History of the List. Then look under Smartlist. The list administrator told me this is where the info is. I'm sorry I brought it up and couldn't be any more help! JOE ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V1 #103 ***************************
