It was a very interesting interview. The only thing that bothered me was how slick the show was. I had never seen the program before. While the choreographed camera moves gave it a smooth flow, almost like a dance, it was obvious that a lot of editing was done to keep the fluidity. To me, it gave it a less than spontaneous feel. I'm not saying it was scripted, but it looked somewhat rehearsed. There was probably another half-hour's worth of material that never made the final cut. (So, how do we get the bootleg footage of _that_?) Juan, you work in TV also; it didn't look like your typical talking head interview, did it? Still, in all, I was thoroughly wrapped up in watching the show. Hats off to Tom for finding the program listing. When did she start going out with Kevin Robinson? How old is Basia anyway??? I was reading her London Wausau, New York concert program and she mentions some english boyfriend who she knew around the time she was singing in Chicago. I just wonder how she was able to travel so much with a son. - -- Sew_N_Quilt ------------------------------ End of basia-digest V1 #17 **************************
