Having made his Glastonbury and Coachella debuts, The Commander is going to play another legendary venue this Autumn - Lords Cricket Ground. http://www.lords.org/news/2014/august/bryan-ferry-to-play-bicentenary-gala-ev ent/ The Great Man will play two gigs to celebrate the 200th anniversary of the ground as a venue for cricket. BF will be boogieing with the bacon and egg ties on the 17th and 18th of October. Not sure about the PR puff though; Three number one singles? Really? Maybe if you include the dubiously claimed T-Rex and Cliff Richard collaborations...and let's face it, nobody is shouting about the latter right now... Amused to read it'll be over by half past one in the afternoon too. A bit like an England innings. Let's hope the setlist avoids a middle-order collapse.
