A 400 mile round-trip (by coach) just to see a three minute clip. Well worth it I'd say! There is a 30+ minute interview with Bryan on "Sound Opinions." For those who don't know, "Sound Opinions" is a radio show out of Chicago Public Radio. It bills itself as 'the world's only rock and roll talk show,' and it features two critics from competing newspapers (like Siskel and Ebert) discussing rock things at length. I highly recommend it as a podcast in any event, but this episode is worth the visit. Here is the link: http://www.soundopinions.org/podcast.html For the true cognescenti, there is an episode of this show from 2001 where they discuss the Roxy Reunion with various callers (including some former Avalon members) I'll post a link if I can find it. I realize that it's getting late in the game, but there are two songs that I've always wanted to see BF perform live: Day for Night (Bete Noire), and Don't Want to Know (Mamouna). Since that doesn't seem likely to happen, this youngster's drumming cover of Don't Want to Know might be considered a rather nice taste of how it might've sounded live: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6n-zeWBsfsk ...
