Spedding looked like a rockabilly god in those days, lean and angular, more statuesque than today's comaesque! Lloyd Watson was second support. I still don't understand why a slide guitarist was on that bill. Sharks were great, but Roxy were blinding. Years later I commissioned Mr Snips (Sharks lead singer) to do the music for a commercial I wrote. He had little memory of the tour though - I guess it was that kind of era!
