Try downloading the file to your computer to watch later, rather than trying to watch such a large item as a live stream. It may still take a while to download, but you won't be affected by the buffering problems you're having. I haven't used this method for PC (I use a Mac) but seems to be a good method/site from all the youtube tutorials I've seen : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5xf6uukCHmk&feature=related Or for a Mac (and maybe a PC - I don't know) using the free Firefox web browser (better than most browsers IMHO) and the free Firefox extension software 'Downloadhelper' works very well to do the same thing. It's possible to the use iExtractMP3 (again, for Mac - it may work with PCs but if not, there is probably something that does the same thing for PCs) to convert the videos to audio files (many youtubes have reasonable uploads of record tracks) to play on iTunes or whatever you use to listen to MP3s files. I am, of course, not recommending that any copyright should be violated! One should delete any such downloads as soon as you've watched them. One really should. Absolutely. Yes indeed. No doubt. That's what you've got to do. Oh yes. :) Lee S Displacement activity a problem? Thank you all. I should read all posts... :-) I'm having 'technical problems'... In my first, second ---and third try this evening---, I got the interview (without the Russian overdub!) in a very fragmented way.... I have to wait 5-10 seconds or so, for 1 second of interview.... And this stops after some time... Tonight I got only to the first 2 minutes of the interview... I think it has to do with Internet-speed, but believe that the connection 'on my side' should be fast enough..... Does anyone have similar problems? Anyone any suggestions. Perhaps watching at a different time (night-time, early morning.... could be better?)... I thought it was my (old) PC, but a newer laptop got the same result... (But of course using the same connection... Should I ask my ISP?) Well, any suggestions are welcome, perhaps best off list... Tara, Anton. - -- Mal: We're still flying. Simon: That's not much. It worked for me. Sometimes you have to close the browser completely & start again, the software does get confused sometimes. Also - you have to at least start playing the file in youtube for the downloader to 'see' it. Displacement activity a problem?
