Hello to anyone who's still hanging around these parts. You may recall a couple of years ago I assembled live versions of all the Roxy albums. Well, there was to have been one final collection in that set, but with one thing and another, I never finished it off. However, I came across the files the other day and figured I'd just get it out there, as is. And what is it? Well, it's Roxy playing Ferry, Manzanera and Mackay solo tracks, and solo Ferry, Manzanera and Mackay performing Roxy tracks. Plus a little Eno oddity of him tackling the Velvet's What Goes On a few years before Ferry did. It's by no means exhaustive or complete and the quality varies wildly, from nice radio recordings to nasty audience tapes that sound like they were recorded in the toilet of the pub next door to the venue. It concentrates mainly on Roxy's original lifespan, with the exception of Andy's solo tracks and Ferry's solo piano rendition of More Than This. With recent official live releases out there from Ferry and Manzanera, and one supposedly forthcoming from Mackay (was anyone at the London show last month?) I've left recordings from that era well alone. So here goes. Roxy Music 01 Impossible Guitar (NYC 1983) 02 Can't Let Go (NYC 1983) 03 Diamond Head (Boston 1976) 04 Wild Weekend (Boston 1976) 05 The 'In' Crowd (Boston 1976) 06 A Hard Rain's A-Gonna Fall (Boston 1976) Andy Mackay & The Metaphors 07 Tara (Bristol 2008) 08 The Pride And The Pain (Bristol 2008) Bryan Ferry 09 More Than This (Portugal 2002) 10 A Really Good Time (Newcastle 1977) 11 Casanova (Amsterdam 1977) 12 Love Is The Drug (Amsterdam 1977) Brian Eno & The Winkies 13 What Goes On (Derby 1974) 801 14 Out Of The Blue (BBC Session 1977) Get it here: https://we.tl/t-Shd4XP4Wkq Download link active for 7 days (expiring on Dec 20th), so don't hang about!
