Thanks for that Chris. Tallies a little with the way Difford bristled when I asked him about his working with Ferry at the showcase type thing I was at in June 2016. Although to be fair we've only got one side of the story and to say the Ferry organisation was a sinking ship might be over-egging it a little. I mean Ferry went on to release ATGB (which although not my cup of tea seemed to be well received), then there was the ATGB world tour (which I think most of us here thought was great), and then Frantic etc and up to the present day where we've got a 72 year old doing a world tour having recently played Glastonbury and Coachella. And then of course throw in the Roxy reunion(s). So I get the feeling there's a little sour grapes at play here, though perhaps also unfortunately, understandably. It would be quite funny to see Ed Brickell (less than complimentary manager from the 80s) and Difford try to outdo (I'd use the word "trump" but that has so many different connotations now) each other with Ferry stories. Oh for a water-tight non-disclosure agreement. Thanks again.
