Simon, your series is a great present to us all. I so enjoy hearing the different instrumental arrangements and Bryan's vocal deviations, at higher pitches of course than nowadays. That said, The Master was amazingly on top of his trade in Oostende last Sunday! Of course his vocal range is much limited now (as a bored Flemish neighbour on the balcony complained), but how clever did he compensate for this. Starting out at a whisper with the slower songs at first (the wear of a full season's touring was very audible, for a moment we doubted if his voice would last the evening) he carefully built up towards the faster and louder part. From ITIS Bard and band were blasting out in full swing! Bryan professionally divided his energy over the evening, and boy, did he AND Anton dance in the second half of that show. Anton was so lucky to be right in front (row 6). You deserved it Anton, after your 1,5 hr wait in vain in Amsterdam last week...
