LIVE You're right, it does cast it in a different light. There's an uncertainty about the original album, probably finding their feet after Eno's departure and also it's the first album to have co-credits, so there's a new sound creeping in. Live, those songs became a different thing altogether. Psalm especially. I've never been fond of the original version, but hearing it live makes sense. Serenade also revels itself to be a snappy little Motown number. Street Life becomes a statement of intent.
