A la Sparks? Sparks played all 21 albums that they had made to date a few years back- a hell of an undertaking and unfortunately I couldn't make it! I don't know about re-recording songs, but I certainly think they could reform to play each album live in full. 4 nights, 2 albums a night. Get Eno and Jobson back on board. I'd go see that. LIVE Sterling work Simon- I'm hoping to listen to the FYP live album today. The first one was brilliant BTW! My latest project is to compile a list of RM live songs (video recordings) and the ones we don't have. I've been a little thwarted in this due to the fact that my copy of 'A Rhapsody divine' appears to be damaged- if anyone has a working version of the 2nd disc, I'd love to hear from them. In the meantime, in reviewing DVDs, I've noticed what a cracking collection 'The Thrill of it all' that was issued some ago is- highly recommended. Other things: - - How is it that the Stockholm concerts on the Siren tour seem to have footage of about 10 songs, but not the whole concert? Anyone know whether the full concert exists somewhere? - -Ditto the Empire Pool Wembley concert of the same tour- bits and pieces but no full concert. - - Ditto the Docklands concert of July 2006- some songs have been releases, but not the full concert. As an aside, I also have what I think is the oldest piece of film of RM playing live: it is a very small extract of 'Would you believe' and I think it was at the Reading Festival. If anyone can top that, I'd love to hear from them. Mactheaxe PS Lee- I'm working on the Sky Arts 'Pub rock' clip- hope to have some news soon!! - -----Original Message----- From: owner-avalon@smoe.org [mailto:owner-avalon@smoe.org] On Behalf Of Simon Galloway Sent: 01 September 2016 20:54 To: Avalon Subject: Re: [AVALON] The 'For Your Pleasure' album... LIVE Thanks mum! ;) I had to look up lagresse in the dictionary... It's a project that's had a long gestation period (around 15 years or so) whose time has finally arrived. So as Richard says, shout out to Mark who was the catalyst and motivated me to get up into the loft to dig out my CDR booty. And once again, thanks to everyone for kind comments on and off-list. Nice to know the music is being enjoyed, cos that's what it's all about. Innit. On 1 September 2016 at 10:49, Jocelyn Fiske wrote: > Well, the impossible has happened.
