I agree, it *could* happen! It happened merely 13 years ago, which isn't that long ago considering the overall timeline of the band. When I saw Bryan a few weeks ago, I believe the majority of the songs were Roxy tunes, and don't recall even one from the new album. I'd like to hear more from Country Life, Stranded, and even Siren if they were to reform and tour. Despite being a gem, I feel most tracks from Avalon are overplayed both by Bryan and Roxy in the past. Is this due to the fact that it's the most recognizable album in the States? Possibly. I've just got back from a couple of weeks' holiday. What has happened? Is it 2001? Am I in a dream? What great reads and camaraderie is here on Avalon. LOVE IT!! Thanks to Simon and all who instigated these Roxy Music downloads & artwork. I'm loving the FYP one. I was away and missed the RM1 download. Can anyone help? Best wishes to all. I don't know about re-recording songs, but I certainly think they could reform to play each album live in full. 4 nights, 2 albums a night. Get Eno and Jobson back on board. I'd go see that. Now that I'm in the mood to post to Avalon once again, here is an amusing bit of Roxy trivia. I just read that English pop band Bananarama got the idea for their name from "Pyjamarama", way back when everyone was younger. If you don't believe me, take it from the Dutch wikipedia (I don't read Dutch, but even I can infer it) https://nl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bananarama I wonder if that is where Dramarama got their name? Or did they get it from Bananarama? Any other ramas in pop music? Perhaps George Harrison would know. hare hare!
