I suspect the management are much younger than the optimum demographic and so don't realise the importance / impact to those that care. There could also be licensing / legal / copyright issues in the background too. The 60's Batman TV series missed a "video collection" and countless years over licensing issues, to the extent I'm sure many fans had passed away. Talk about shooting yourselves in the foot. I asked the guy who played Batman (Adam West) in about 2004 and he shook his head and raised his hands as if to say:"I give up". (The TV series eventually got released on BluRay and DVD at the end of 2014).
