I think the set-list is truly amazing, more than this I did not expect. Not seen Roxy since the last ever show at the Hammersmith in 2000! A Roxy show is one of the best ways of spending 90 minutes of your life - you don't get many and I can't wait until Monday night. How can any set-list be regarded as 'self-indulgent' as one review I read - these guys wrote the songs for heaven's sake so have a right to play what the hell they like! I got bored with the same old sets - this will be like listening to a new album in live terms. Why can't people just embrace the songs they don't know like we used to in the early days when often you would hear the songs for the first time like the Siren Tour. It's interesting that Bryan seems to be taking a lower profile allowing Phil and Andy to take more centre-stage. Phil really seems to be relishing the tour. I know Steve Siren and Mark Stephens are going to Brum and Nottingham on Wednesday as I am. Anyone else? Be good to meet up at the venue if we can orchestrate something. Next time......
