Ian Gomm is selling autographed copies of several Brinsley Schwartz CDs directly through his own website. He answers his own email and ships his own products. I have a hard time envisioning Bryan stuffing envelopes and marching off to the post office -- but he certainly could do something through bryanferry.com regarding autographed material. Didn't Phil Manzanera sell autographed CDs through manzanera.com? I suspect that Bryan's income stream is large enough that he doesn't need to bother with marketing autographed material. But you are correct, I'd rather see the artist make money off an autograph than some creepy stalkerish autograph hustler. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Fri, 12 Nov 2010 09:17:48 -0600 From: MarlanaK@webtv.net (M.M.K.) This is why I like Olympia Ferry comes across more modern. You want new fans this is how you reel them in to hear who you are & what your inventory is like.---I love the Tender Is the Night the way Ferry sings it. It reminds me so much of the book & people in it leading a rich & carefree life on the Riveria. Ferry seems transported back in time to that place. I have sky +'d everything BF lately including the squirmingly embarrasing Loose Women show - but I missed last nights Jools Holland show - don't know how it happened my box just didn't record! I am a cleptomaniac when it comes to anything BF /RM and I am desperate for a copy of the whole show. I don't suppose theres anyone out there who has a recording they could put on disc for me? I will gladly pay. Either that or does anyone know how else I could get a copy of the show? I've watched the show on BBC iplayer this morning and am even more sick I don't have a copy (I know clips can be watched on line etc but theres nothing like having your own copy).
