Thanks Richard. Though Iain Martin completely lost me, during his blog. [ This link worked for me better: http://blogs.telegraph.co.uk/iain_martin/blog/2009/05/23/ ] PR... ah, if only our Bry could meta-communicate like e.g. Thomas Dolby. See here, about starting the recording of his new album (still not out): http://blog.thomasdolby.com/2008/09/fun-fun-fun/ Even with a description of a new song: http://blog.thomasdolby.com/2008/10/notes-on-a-new-song/ And releasing (world-premiering!?) his songs via a free Wired-podcast. Listen here: http://tinyurl.com/ond4ss (If you can handle longer, more permanent links: http://www.wired.com/underwire/2009/05/wired-playlist-podcast-introducing-guest-dj-thomas-dolby/ ) Stay up to date with Thomas here: http://twitter.com/tdolby2001 Though, considering their birth dates we should be understanding to our Bryan. Thomas has so much less gray in his beard! ;-))) Tara, Anton. - -- Mal: We're still flying. Simon: That's not much. Mal: It's enough... Thomas has so much less gray in his beard! ;-)))" ADAPT OR DIE!!! What saddens me about 'the state of Bryan Ferry's career is that he has allowed his talent to be sorely underutilized; a self-saboteur extraordinaire, it is difficult to understand why he doesn't just get on with 'things'. Why does he freeze his projects? Why does he exhibit performance anxiety? Why hasn't the man emotionally matured enough to realize that he has no one to please but himself (and, perhaps, a loved one or two...) - OH. - Maybe he has come to terms with things after all, perhaps he'd like to leave the scene gracefully, with quiet dignity. Perhaps all is as it should be... But I feel there is more, and if Mr. Ferry is willing and able, he shall produce. And hopefully that will be during my lifetime. BTW, I think BF's music is brilliant through much of his career. It is only this millennium that has left me wondering if HULU aliens sucked away the brain gel... Watch more TV.
