I was there and though the band were kin superb, the sound where I stood was sh-one-t. MaYbe I should have moved around a bit. Anyway it put my head into "Magazine-space" whjere it has remained ever since. Been playing Real Life to real death! And yes, our crew noted the Roxy track. 3/4 of us were thrilled. We'll just have to hope they stay re-formed and play loads more gigs. Jocelyn and Lee, did he really sing "I know Obama will look after me" in Model Worker or did I hallucinate it? Dave Formula (Magazine's Eno, just to stretch this near-topic again)'s solo album may well be worth a spin, doncha think? XX Guy PS: I thought the jacket was pale pink. It reminded me of Ferry on *that* album cover, but if I had been able to see the trousers, I would have been shocked out of that comparison, no doubt (from where I stood any view below thwe waist was simply not going to happen. This is a YouTube of high quality from the London gig Jocelyn and Jonathan and Guy and I attended, so you can see what we all got so excited about, There are another two parts plus one with the support act Ipso Facto's contributions to the evening from the same video-poster. The sound was good where I was, but that's gigs for you. Guy - you can now see the great man's troos. He did say 'Obama' and has previously used Carter and Reagan in the song. Our occasional young-man-up-north Simon G saw them in Manchester too.
