revealed some rather surprising news: his first collaboration
with  _Brian  Eno_

almost 30 years. (The pair's popular _My  Life in the Bush of
Ghosts_
(http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/store/artist/album/0,,3559258,00.html)
LP came out 27 years ago.) The  as-yet-untitled project is expected before the
end of the year through  Nonesuch.

"Brian had written a lot of _music_
(http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/news/article/0,,4665518,00.html#)  but needed
some words, which I know  how to do,"
Byrne explained to the New York Daily News. "What's it sound like?  Electronic
gospel. That's all I'm saying."

Byrne also told NME.com that  he's working on music with _Fatboy  Slim_
(http://www.artistdirect.com/nad/music/artist/card/0,,570478,00.html) bsongs
that'll be done "sometime." According to The Daily Swarm, a  Byrne/Eno tour
featuring "at least 40-percent Eno-era _Talking Heads_

may also touch down  sometime
this year.
