It was exciting, strange, rewarding and fascinating all at the same time. I don't think I've heard anything quite like it - a strange brew indeed. Live the songs take off and it was good to hear All Tomorrow's Parties - an appropriate cover if ever there was one. It was really good though - all the band played well and the set - essentially as before but with Bitter Sweet as an encore. Highlights for me were BS, New York, New York, Tara (has Andy ever written anything more beautiful) and Pride and The Pain. It was great to see TGPT back and looking relaxed - seems like a really nice and genuine guy. I understand they will be doing more dates in the summer when the album will be out. These were very very much warm up dates. In all - much more provocative than the Dylanesque tour Cheers Richard ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V12 #356 ***************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
