The date is wrong though, this is the October 1974 show that makes up the bulk of Viva! and various old vinyl boots. Great to have it intact, that version of Beauty Queen is priceless. The report in yesterday's Mail on Sunday that I picked up in the application queue for the Ironman Triathlon claims that the split was mainly due to BF not wanting to fulfil Katie's wish for children, given that he already has 4 grown-up trouble-makers, er offspring of his own. Off-topic a wee bit, but given that BF follows in the footsteps of Rod Stewart and David Bowie a little two closely, some of you will be keen to see a clip from Spongebob Squarepants featuring voice artist Dame Bowie... _http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mqdr3OfF_FM_ (http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mqdr3OfF_FM) What animation (maybe something Lee S knocks up inbetween Roxy Magic rehearsals?) would BF be good for? Like everyone upon purchasing the Bracewell book the first thing I did was look at the photos. My jaw dropped when I saw the photo of Bryan's university girlfriend (my mind is a blank, Susie?) in the croquet pictures. She is the spitting image of both Lucy and Katie. And then I wonder how or why this quite unusual "look" touches something in his heart. They all have that pre-Raphaelite thing going, not a million miles away from the painting he chose for the sleeve of the single More Than This. Pale, round face, dark brown hair, dark eyes, ....Am I alone in finding this interesting ?!! ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 25 Feb 2008 15:46:55 +0100 From: "Michiel van Sleen" Subject: Re: [AVALON] Ferry splits Bryan and Katie will only reunite if they can produce something together that would be better than what Bryan's done sofar. I fear that's never going to happen, so Ferry will have to keep on doing his solo-work. - ----- Original Message ----- From: To: Sent: Monday, February 25, 2008 12:17 PM Subject: [AVALON] Ferry splits > Apparently, it's news that Bryan Ferry and Katie Turner have separated for > good (but who knows?).
