It was a strange collection that one, and apart from the appalling versions
of sea breezes and heart on my sleeve it's stood the test of time well. 

You Go to My Head is one of those Ferry cover versions that just oozes
class. It's arrangement is understated perfection. A bit neglected on the
compilations as well.

I agree with you about ATGB, this brilliant tour was a vehicle for tracks
such as this. I would also like to have heard "I can't get started with you"
on a B side somewhere.

Bryan also re-recorded You Go To My Head duirng the As Time Goes By  sessions 
in a similar arrangement to this but as you know it has never been  released

I recently communicated with the Morgan Fisher, the flashy keyboards player  
from Mott the Hoople; because of my involvement with Roxy Magic, he kindly  
offered these memories:
 
'I remember meeting Andy MacKay a few times when he played with Mott. I was  
impressed by the coolness of his image - a single narrow green streak in his  
hair, matched by his plastic glasses and bracelet.


Once during a Mott recording at AIR studios I was slightly sozzled and  
wearing a safari outfit complete with solar topee. I gatecrashed Bryan Ferry's  
session in the studio next to ours. He wore a bemused smile...'
