The band is hot...Oliver is a star - love his work; Me'sha can belt out a note or three, and she has fun doing it; Sarah is terrific; Leo is very accomplished; Iain Dixon doesn't put a foot wrong. Colin, Andy, Guy and Mandy round off the talent. No Spedding on this tour. We were treated both nights to the inclusion of Roxy classics Remake/Remodel, Chance Meeting and Virginia Plain, along with Love is the Drug, Jealous Guy and Both ends Burning. Loved The In Crowd as the opener. This was a double-bill, with Joan Armatrading on for 70 minutes before Bryan. I watched her on the first night, but couldn't bring myself to sit through the second...very professional, but not my cup o' tea! Good crowd in the first night...second night was a charity concert for Kids with cancer...venue about half full. Excellent performances, both nights. - --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. He did tell me he had worked on a Roxy album many years ago but couldn't remember the name of it, which perhaps indicates that it wasn't a major event in his life, although he does still have the Thank You letter he got from Ferry for his efforts. He started as a concert pianist and is a very talented musician with an extraordinary musical knowledge which is almost revered by his colleagues at the Beeb. And he's a nice guy too.
