As well as support act Jesse Malin, Mick Ronson's sister Maggie, Ian's daughter Traci Hunter, onstage playing live were Mott The Hoople stalwarts Mick Ralphs and Verden Allen and "Bryan Ferry's guitar player Chris Spedding". Was that Andy Mackay lurking also in the wings awaiting timidly the nod? No, it wasn't but those already on stage were pretty incredible. NB Ian Hunter now an incredible 68 years old. Plays over two hours of full-on rock and roll set and doesn't break into a sweat, speed up songs to get off stage quicker (though he did claim that playing past the curfew would cost an extra #500) or leave stage at the half-way mark for whatever it is that Bryan does when he leaves his band looking quizzical.... The Manifesto 'I am for an Art' was originally made to be included in the catalogue of the 'Environments, Situations and Spaces' exhibition. Each of the statements begin with 'I am for an art...'. Here is a quote from the first two statement in his poetical manifesto, "I am for an art that is political-erotical-mystical, that does something other than sit on its ass in a museum.
