God, I didn't think I'd ever see or hear anything that I didn't already know at least something about Roxy/Ferry. But to be presented with Ferry in trailer for a "Hammer Horror" film AND NOW "A Secret Album"!! WOW! I am sure with the work load Ferry/Roxy undertook between 72-75 there can't have been time for another album? (Ferry was already struggling with lyrics for the Siren sessions). From memory were there not 9 albums from Roxy & Solo members (excluding ENO) during this period. More than the last 10 years or more? Still this is how "legendary lost album" stories come from. Actually there IS a missing album between Country Life and Siren!!!!!!! Come and check my record collection for yourself if you don't believe me. Flip through the lot, and you will find that the one in between said albums... is missing! Seriously, I don't think Mister Silky Strings can still surprise me. Well maybe, if he were to play The Blob. Come to think of it, he already played The Bob. - ----- Original Message ----- From: "Terence OConnor" To: Sent: Thursday, September 06, 2007 9:18 AM Subject: [AVALON] Tales of the unexpected? > Martin Stockman wrote: > "He claims to have a copy of a lost Roxy album recorded between Country > Life > and Siren". > > God, I didn't think I'd ever see or hear anything that I didn't already > know at least something about Roxy/Ferry.
