Hopefully later. Here the "full Bryan Ferry-version", 40 minutes, including the opening track by Queen. The actual interview starts around 10 minutes or so... By his twitchy standards I thought he looked pretty together and relaxed. Genuine laughs rather than forced smiles. AATW was one his best live tv show performances, LITD I'm afraid all the reasons why he sometimes struggles in these settings. More the band and the arrangement than him though. He's singing brilliantly at the moment. Very confident. As for doing two songs I reckon he did LST and a Fool for love on jonathan Ross for frantic promotion. - -----Original Message----- From: owner-avalon@smoe.org [mailto:owner-avalon@smoe.org] On Behalf Of cassidys362@tiscali.co.uk Sent: 20 April 2007 23:11 To: avalon@smoe.org Subject: [AVALON] Bryan on Jonathon Woss BBC1 now! Well at the end of the show in about 20 minutes. Doing a song off Dylanesque and a 'Roxy Music' classic. Most artists only get to do one song so something of a coup. No Nazi jokes yet from Ross but during the introduction he said something along the lines of Bryan's 'as smooth as a lap-dancer's thigh' or words to that effect :-) Bryan looked rather nervous and twitchy when introduced - perhaps not surprising given the mauling he's had this week. It's interesting that whenever he's interviewed on foreign tv stations he appears to be far more relaxed. I saw one recently - link from Vivaroxymusic.com - on a German show and he seemed extremely laid back. Perhaps its Britain with its more intrusive media that makes him more nervous - 'the sidewalk papers gutter-press you down' ?
