If it hadn't been for the raffle, there would have been a few us well and truly out of pocket. 45k is just Ferry, without the hire of a venue, the equipment etc, etc (and you wouldn't be able to dictate the set list either). Then whom here can afford or would be prepared to put the money up front? I have spoken to an ex financial director Roxy pal of mine (who helped organise Ferry at the NABS Big Bash this year), who might be interested. But the words pipe-dream spring to mind when you do the real figures. But you never know, stranger things have happened. Bryan did'nt really storm off, but he left the stage any did'nt return for the encore. According to the play lists LITD and VP were both down to be played. He left his band standing there on the stage, shaking their heads....and looking bewildered... ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V12 #91 **************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
