Does anyone know what went wrong in Hamburg? Bryan did'nt really storm off, but he left the stage any did'nt return for the encore. According to the play lists LITD and VP were both down to be played. He left his band standing there on the stage, shaking their heads....and looking bewildered... Maybe he was disappointed with the audience. This is normally a home game for any BF or RM concert, but the magic was missing that night. Only for the last song LST did the crowd rush to the front - after Bryans third or fourth "invitation" to dance...that could have been down to the fact that the best seats were never for sale (except through Ebay for ridiculous prices) to the fans, but reserved for VIPs etc - correct me if I am wrong... and too many people kept leaving their seats for God knows what, causing a little unrest.. maybe Bryan was missing the appreciation....maybe I am over reacting, and am still annoyed about my seat right at the back... Whatever, his manners towards a small group of fans immediately afterwards was once again impeccable.... Just a few thoughts... Both Bryan and the band were in good shape. The public stayed on their chairs and when some tried to get in front of the stage, they were send back by security-officiers. But, we Dutchies, couldn't stand to see Bryan asking the public to clap hands and to come forward to the stage. So finally we ignored the security-officiers and went forward. Bryan and the band enjoyed this very much and he thanked some of us by touching our hands, while we were singing and clapping. No encore, but the whole setlist at one time. We spoke to Ollie Thompson, who stayed on stage for a while. We asked him which concert was better HMH or Antwerp. His answer was very political: "Oh. I enjoyed both of them". He also signed some tickets and tourbooks. Then we went to the parking place near the Antwerp Zoo, hoping to meet Bryan and others. The black Mercedes in wich Bryan arrived left the parking place without stopping.!!!! After that, two busses with the bandmembers left and that was all................or not? The black Mercedes came back, so we decided to keep waiting. That was the right thing to do, because it was Bryan who finally left the venue and he stopped next to us to sign our tourbooks, tickets etc. After this we went back to Ridderkerk/Rotterdam. We've had a really really good time.
