However, IMHO, it was much better than I was anticipating (not being a Dylan fan and all) and 'wor Bry's voice was belting out (when I was expecting the ATGB whisper mode). I really enjoyed it - and enjoyed the chance to catch up with the usual suspects (JO'B, Reecey, Jocelyn, Jonathan, Andrew etc etc - sorry if I missed you out) who are all wearing almost as well as 'wor Bry (with his picture in the attic somewhere). Cheered me up and restored my faith in the cool ruler.......just wish he'd hurry up on some lyrics for the new Roxy output. See you again at the Di concert in Wembley? :-) Cheers Andy C _________________________________________________________________ Txt a lot? Does anyone know if this exists and where it could be found? Just Like Tom Thumbs blues is a great track, certainly amongst his best, and Simple Twist of Fate, Gates of Eden, Times they r a changing, and Postively 4th Street all strong tracks. I'm so pleased he's selling records again, for all the admirers of Mamouna would he have carried on if they didn't sell? With the right luck and continual promotion maybe it will stick around in the charts for a while? I was in israel when Mamouna came out, so i never got to here about it till much later. I think it's one of his best (if not THE best) & it goes to show that greatness doesn't necessarily go hand in hand with popularity. I hope BF knows how much we love Mamouna. I wouldn't want him to think that his mid-life crisis & heaps of money was all in vain. It's a filmnoir to me. I like the original to, nice guitarwork and beautifull soul music. The highlight of the album which is underestimated if you asked me.He realy reworked the songs, it sound as a whole and has that typical Ferry mood that i like so much. http://www.4shared.com/file/12379445 Next time a Dylan original. Hadn't noticed the Ben Nevis credit.
