Amongst them (and what I have listened to is amazing quality) are two Ferry concerts at the Bottom Line, 23rd June 1977. No Roxy sadly. Anyway link to the Ferry concerts is: http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/Concerts.aspx?stype=artist&id=998 and the web site as a whole: http://concerts.wolfgangsvault.com/ Been listening to vintage Jefferson Airplane, Quicksilver Messenger Service and Sons of Champlin. Bloody brilliant. When b & gs was out I heard him on Radio 1 saying that he didn't like the sound of his voice and sometimes thought it spoiled songs. He said he would like to think he would do an instrumental album some day. Personally I think his voice is so distinctive that this would be a shame (for instance The Only Face ATGB live versions, and Sonnet 18 have great vocals) - but maybe theres lots of tracks with no lyrics around to use. Also was watching that Dieter Meyer thing, and they were talking about artists and how they dry up. Ferry said that being "too happy" and "having someone else as a catalyst" as possible reasons. Which as someone said recently might have been Simon Puxley. Anyway enough rambling have a good Christmas and hopefully see some of you at RAH, Glasgow and Brighton. Do you know if there are any Roxy Music Nights like in the 70's where certain venues played Roxy and related music (eg Bowie) and people came dressed up?
