No details of who's performing yet but I would imagine a bucket full of names that would appeal to the Roxy in us all. There are three names listed as playing thus far, including the first ever live performance by British Electric Foundation (Martyn Ware and Ian Craig-Marsh) - or Heaven 17 without Glenn Gregory. Also playing are Electric Soft Parade and The Subterraneans with Paul Haig. The event is being put together by Gary Williams. All profits will go to the charity Sound Seekers (formerly the Commonwealth Society for the Deaf). But for his early death, March 2007 would have seen the 50th birthday of Associates frontman Billy MacKenzie. Chiller Cabinet connects up Brian Eno's idea of perfectly compiled quiet music tapes with the clunk and bundle of the international night-time music scene. Which doesn't exist. It's imagination music." Stephen Pastel, Glasgow, 2006 Listen Sunday 2-4am/repeated Thursday 10pm- Midnight Sunday 10 December/Thursday 14 December Chill is a digital radio station available on: DAB Online (_www.helpmechill.com_ (http://www.helpmechill.com/) ) Sky channel 0174 and digital cable TV Featured Artist - Leo Abrahams/Searching 1906 Tonight's show is about two things: the music of Leo Abrahams and a documentary film called Searching 1906. Leo Abrahams studied composition at the Royal Academy of Music before embarking on a career as a guitarist, arranger and producer. He has enjoyed long-standing associations with Brian Eno (appearing on several albums), Ed Harcourt with whom he has toured and recorded for 6 years, and dj/film composer David Holmes (Oceans 12 and the award-winning Code 46). He is now a regular feature in both Bryan Ferry solo and Roxy Music line-ups when playing live. Seeking 1906, an hour documentary film, is a journey with best selling author, geologist, and adventurer, Simon Winchester as he researches his 18th book and New York Times bestseller, A Crack in the Edge of the World. Winchester travles as far a field as Alaska searching for both the stories behind the catastrophic 1906 San Francisco earthquake, and the modern day science of earthquakes. He stumbles across some strange and unexpected things along the way, and meets an eclectic and colorful collection of characters, all accompanied by the music of Leo Abrahams. Re-inventing guitar music with the music of Leo Abrahams.
