I too have found myself in the audience for Mr Adamson's recent tour and I  
too leapt a good ten foot in the air when suddenly and literally without 
warning  our Bazza launched into a blistering all out assualt on Remake/Remodel. 
 
It seemed inevitable. He has the clothes, the moves, the dark sound mixed  
with fabulous lyrics (When you don't have a lot all you've got is a  lot) and, 
most importantly the sense of cool. He also has that sense of  humour that 
Ferry had in the old days and seems to have lost since 1978.

As he suggests that "if you have any  psychedelics on you, this would be the 
time to take them" they launch into  a weird take on Officer Bentley's Fairly 
Serious Dilemma from the new  album, my mind drifts away on a river, when 
bam! 
I'm wrenched right back  down to earth with the dirtiest, grungiest version 
of 
Remake Remodel I've  ever heard. It takes a lot smack my gob these days,  but 
that and a  throbbing version of Magazine's (Sly Stone's) Thank You 
Falettinme Be 
Mice  Elf Agin left me astounded. And he never had a bead of asymmetrical 
sweat  
out of place.
All hail the new King of Nothing  Hill.

Well, I was there for the Monday show. What a way to start the week! Yes  
they did a stonking version of Remake and yes it was deliriously exciting.
 
Incidentally, Barry was supported by Tim Keegan who was joined on  guiter by 
Noah Taylor (_http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah_Taylor_ 
(http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Noah_Taylor) ) sometime  film star and current Catweazle lookalike. 
Shame their music was aural tedium.

I heard a radio interview with Robin Simon the other night.
He and his brother have a new "band", AjantaMusic. (see a thread here?)
Very Phil-like. 
Not bad at all.
But this sort of thing has the ever-present tendency to tip over into 
Yani-ism.
