He craves adoration and professional acclamation, but desires privacy and anonymity when at leisure. Surely that's not too much to ask for, is it? He perfectly envisions his idealized world, but doesn't seem to know how to create or obtain it. Never learns how to break-through; remains rigid and inflexible. He does, after all, have his standards. He is tough in a hard world, but remains fragile inside; doesn't know which way to turn. The world he knows is fading out of time: This new-fangled internet thing just might rear its ugly head towards him, how can it be trusted - history tells him he can't really trust anyone or anything... But you've got to love his work ethic, even if he is stuck with an obsession to re-write and re-work his and others musical pieces. Do you suppose he ruminates a lot? Gees, the guy sounds nearly human. Too bad he hasn't accepted that most people have 'an angle': There aren't many people out there without a personal agenda; dog-eat-dog. I wonder that he doesn't wish to be left alone... but then how would he get his adoration and professional acclamation... conundrum k PS. Thank you, all who have written with their accounts of the recent Roxy road show. It's been great reading there's fresh magic in ferryland. You were all very fortunate to have been a part of that.
