As well as having some new solo work out shortly, there will be an album next year of more song-like pieces with great vocalists such as Ed Harcourt and Brian Eno. Also, he is leaving today for Paris to record some ballet music with Brian Eno (now that sounds glamorous!). He also said it was interesting working with Roxy Music just now as he is not really playing guitar for them (they do have someone called Phil Manzanera for that) but is fulfilling the treatments role originally performed by Eno. Can't be many people who get to "perform the Eno duties in Roxy" AND work with the guy himself on his solo things. Although Brian Eno is seemingly confirmed to be playing the Isle of Wight Bestival in September with Rachid Taha, Leo is unsure but has promised to confirm one way or the other. Best wishes Richard Mills ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V11 #137 ***************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
