I call upon Avalonians to elucidate me as to whether this may have been a joint project (maybe when Brian Eno called in to see Guy Pratt?) or just a wholesale rip-off." 'Wholesale rip-off' - interesting thought, Richard! Over the years, several Avalonians have written about examples of what would appear to be Ferry erroneously borrowing or stealing another artist's work. And, although I maybe wrong since my knowledge of Eno is extremely limited, I intuitively feel Eno is the consummate show-man huckster who probably has also gathered 'inspiration' from other creative sources. Even so, I am left to wonder: Barring the outright duplication of lyrics, is 'wholesale rip-off' really possible between these two creative talents? - After all, they are from the same 'nursery'. So many angles to consider... In unison with Richard, I ask Avalonians, "What say you?" Best wishes. I'd be amazed if Ferry was even remotely aware of Eno's solo work. And probably vise versa. Leave Joan alone, she still gorgeous. She once came to my flat with one of her husbands, an American called Ron something who my girlfriend was working for, and her fragrance filled the rooms seemingly forever. That was 1983. And she looks the same. Didn't Bry have a dabble there?
