I made the original DVD (from Martino's VHS) that was doing the rounds (or trees) and when it left me it definitely DID have a DVD menu that allowed you to pick each track separately (complete with thumbnails) and if someone has stripped them off then "bah humbug!!!" (as it took quite some time to create them) - but I have a sneaky suspicion that since I stated I would use the menu as a way of telling my original disc when it appeared on ebay, maybe we all know why someone has unceremoniously stripped them off - b*st*rds!!! Perhaps those that have been tree'd to so far would like to let me know (off list) where/when the menu was removed? It really doesn't help our cause (of extreme fandom?!?) if these 'labour of love's fall into the wrong hands and end up on ebay (or similar for profit trading sites). Disgruntedly yours... That is what I had hoped for all along. Now if only some US activity! I have been promised a copy by another intrepid Avalonian, but have not got it in my sweaty. trembling mits, as of yet. Quality is hardly the issue here, this is NOT some "official" release from the Ferry Bunker. ...Er Headquarters. If this were that sort of PRODUCT, then slickness would be in order, AND it would have taken 10 times as long to be produced. (OK, should we end the track here or would Brian want this clip to go on for 2 seconds more? Let's make a note ... , etc. I fully understand, sometimes getting out of bed in the morning seems like the Labors of Hercules.) So thanks in advance of seeing it to those on-list who worked long and hard to bring this out. Always happy to see someone step up to the plate & help us to receive the hard efforts that go into creating a DVD. One must remember where footage is obtained from. When you tape from TV or anything else, quality is only what you were able to tape. I don't think anyone was thinking Oscar when they took this job on. Great album. Can't wait to see what he does with his Roxy remix of To "Turn You On." If it's up to the quality of this album, the Roxy remix album might well eclipse the official new release. If pube haired chart pest Leo Sayer can make a comeback to the top of the charts thanks to a remix of one of his songs, then I'm sure Ferry and co should be home free. Also, under Art direction he thanks Nicholas De Ville, which seems only right and proper. Btw, I wouldn't be surprised if we hear a Goldfrapp remix of a much loved Roxy tune on the new album, but keep it between us, eh?
