Chirs Thomas produced several Roxy/Ferry albums and also some INXS albums too. I remember reading somewhere that Michael Hutchence's favourite album was For Your Pleasure. I come from the backwaters of Johannesburg, South Africa. I was a Roxy freak from 1972, but NONE of my contemporaries were interested until years later when Bry's Boys moved to the dance floor. However, your "MAINSTREAM" album (1974?) knocked the socks off the Pink Floyd brigade back home. They really were clamouring for more. BUT how long did it take you to make your presence felt again? The 801 experiment was grand, (& then another hiatus for how many years now?) but if "progressive" means confining yourselves to small spaces and not letting us know, small wonder you are ignored by the greater populace. I, personally, treasure my EGCD (is that correct?) vinyls & the occasional forays into BURP-WORLD (ENO - geddit?) & would love to know what is going down now. I am in London now, so am keen to hear. I just don't like the bitterness (frustration?) you allowed to creep (no, BARGE!) into your postscript. Aren't DJ's seen as the height of cool? And what do DJ's play...? A vinyl record is, has and probably always will be cooler than cd's, tapes and musical downloads.
