Agreed, yes. And that is why it is difficult to understand why the term "cultural pygmy" has been applied to no less than two different individuals in recent days - "cultural pygmy" doesn't aptly describe anything about anyone, let alone their music talent or lack there of. Best wishes. Nice pic of BF and KT in today's independent. Apparently his mate Nicky Haslam feels snubbed, cos BF sat on someone else's table. Similarly, two very prominent pictures in Friday's Daily Mail, a kind of posh and common bookends - B&K in black tie finery (he in a battered old velvet jacket and slightly dishevelled hand tied bow tie, and at last a new pair of ultra skinny haute couture troosers), and them both loved-up in matching muffty lugging copious amounts of Waitrose shopping home - I believe Sainsbury's are feeling rather snubbed. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 13 Feb 2006 16:40:54 -0000 From: "Martin Stockman" Subject: RE: [AVALON] Ferry 4 Cameron ?? Wonderful news, Bryan is a Waitrose man. Hoorah for the organic life and all of its joys. And their own label vintage fizz is very drinkable. Hello, I was just watching the "videos" for Hard Rain and What Goes On. Does Mr. Ferry have a diagnosed mental condition? Is he trying to satirize popular culture by presenting a Pop Star as Lunatic? Or is this bizarre series of facial contortions and and grimacing considered acceptable behavior in England? Surely English women do not find this sexy...this man would frighten children. Great stuff (though I still can't tell to what degree this bizarreness is intentional) - --------------------------------- Yahoo! Doug (the guitar player and mastermind) is a largely unheralded virtuoso on his ax. They also did Needle in the Camel's Eye and King's Lead Hat. They come from the "No Synthesizers Allowed" school of rock. I consider myself lucky to have seen one of their few performances. Quite fun to see an audience waltzing and singing along to Back in Judy's Jungle. They call themselves the ENORCHESTRA when they play live. - --------------------------------- Yahoo!
