Actually that s a good question KB. I'm sure the old boy puts his x in the Tory box but he's fairly reticent about public support for a much-disliked brand. Having said that Cameron is arguably to the left of Blair these days and is clearly charismatic. Most politicians trip up when asked about their favourite musicians - they either give unbearably square answers or try to be too cool - but Cameron's defence of Smith's Hatfull of Hollow was erudite and heartfelt. Believe it or not. So, no surprises if La Ferrari's gong along as either a Tory or a Crooner. Perhaps both. What I can't understand is why he charges only #25k for a Corporate performance. Seems unbelievalbly cheap to me. One could virtually employ him for a wedding. Or a works leaving do. At that price. Surely some mistake...no? Rope in Hubbard, Pratt and Kamen. How does #8k and as much as you can eat from the trolley sound? And by the way the caterers are rather pretty." And #25K is the high side of his advertised fee - I should think he's a 'great value', should get booked often given his versatility. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Thu, 09 Feb 2006 10:02:14 -0500 From: Jocelynfiske@aol.com Subject: RE: [AVALON] Ferry 4 Cameron ?? Hardly in the same league of unpopularity as the Millwall's (no one likes us and we don't care!) of this world. You'll have to go back to "Statto" school I'm afraid! Graham Souness ______________________________________________________________ Does that mean then that he isn't reticent about public support for a much-loved brand? Oh yeah, he has professed to family and management alike his affection for vivaroxymusic.com I see, you have a point. Just to have said it, Madonna was absent. I don't know if Bryan is a member, but he joined the party, and had a mini-concert. He arrived in a very spirited mood and his first words were. "Hi folks, it's SNOW in Norway!!" And yes Bry, you were right, we have not had that much for many ears. But it is not very cold ..0 - minus 3. I have put a link here, because you can see 2-3 pictures of Bryan with Camilla's nephew Tom Paker Bowles. Try to read some Norwegian for a change, it is much easier than you think ;) http://pub.tv2.no/nettavisen/side2/kjendis/article556283.ece Kari ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V11 #37 **************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
