Certainly, the earliest any new album could come out is this autumn but I have no knowledge as to a release date. I would presume that the band would tour to promote the album and these things take time to put in place. Personally, 2007 looks the best bet. There have been talks with companies about a release and, to a great extent, when or whether anything else comes out will depend on the outcome of those talks. Lastly, clearly there are people about who believe that the members of RM no longer need to earn a living. BF does his corporate gigs, etc., and Phil does whatever is necessary to pay the bills. Same as the rest of us. Rather than whingeing about any 'delays' with a new RM album (and, as we've been waiting for nearly 25 years, what's another few months in the grand scheme of things?) perhaps we might get a little bit excited at the prospect of seeing two of British rock music's guitar greats appearing on the same stage in something more than a charity do or other contrived event.
