KBP - I have a little "knob" on top of my car (about 2" diameter), and it is an OEM. Maybe I'll just wing off an email to Sirius and see what they say (although I think I know that answer..) Linda - I'd love not to drive through dirty snow.. unfortunately, I live in Canada so it's not an option. And if it were just snow, I wouldn't care... it's the salt on the roads that eats my car's bodywork that I want to remove. And yes, the Sirius antenna is on the outside, although I'm intrigued by the idea of an internal antenna - would make my life easier. In a perfect world, I'd like my car to be covered in the fine red dust of the Mekong delta and the Tonle Sap lake and river - - even if the thought of getting Volvo parts in SE Asia does turn my hair white!
