If like me, you have been frustrated by the lack of information about Roger Eno on the web, you will be pleased to see that at last an earnest attempt to represent him is being made - plus the facility to order the album direct from the artist/label NOW. Thanks to all of those who contributed ideas and questions in advance of my meeting with Roger, who is already in the studio working on some new material. Some of you are mentioned by name in the first Q&A interview that features on the new site. I have not ignored suggestions made by some of you who have asked for downloads of unreleased or hard-to-find materials, musical scores, etc and these were met by Roger with positive enthusiasm so expect the site to grow over time. By the very nature of things, there's a chance that you might see the occasional error on my part or be inspired to ask a question for the next Q&A/make a suggestion . By all means, write to me OFFLIST and I'll correct the error and/or ask the question/consider the suggestion. Hopefully, there will be those among you who think this initial site is a huge improvement on none at all... _www.rogereno.co.uk_ (http://www.rogereno.co.uk) Best wishes Richard Mills n/p Darkening Hour - Ghostland ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ Date: Mon, 10 Oct 2005 19:31:10 +0100 From: "Mark Stephens" Subject: [AVALON] Rosie I remember that song Steve, Rosie, Oh Rosie! Must have been in my Grandmas collection somewhere. Regards, mark Although I doubt if there's any connection, it was the title of a Don Partridge song, whose biggest song was (prarie) "Rosie" I think he also had a hit with "Pale Blue Eyes" More mature Avalonians might remember him, he was a one man band, busker type Steve ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V10 #250 ***************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
