Surely there will be a different type of audience at each. The festival show show just be the first two albums played straight through, with Pyjamarama & Virginia Plain as encores. Then the Liverpool docks show Could have all the MOR stuff from later on. Hence I allow myself to re-post the list of songs I consider likely, here it is: "Casanova (76 version) Running Wild Take a Chance With Me The Bogus Man Bitter-Sweet Sunset" (and some stuff from Terry's list seems also likely, besides, "Sea Breezes" or "Serenade" would be great) and maybe two more aspects: I suppose the newly included material will be chosen according to a few pragmatic points: too long/too short?, does everyone in the band like it?, can they come up with a good arrangement?, and most importantly: is it OK with Bryan's voice? They wouldn't want to transpose down 50% of the songs, so although who'd dare to rule it out, I don't think Bryan will strain his vocal cords to the sounds of Same Old Scene, Would You Believe?, Psalm etc. In addition to that, does anybody know whether Colin Good will be part of the band or not? Quote I've read from another (non-RM/BF) messageboard, about the propect of going the to upcoming Roxy Music gigs: "the whole fox hunting thing has put me off" Do you think Otis/Lucy's actions have dented Roxy Music's concert-drawing potential? Do you think Otis' continued maverick protests are casting a bad light on dad, and are bad for business (in a Roxy Music concert/album sense)? Has the fox debacle further caricatured, rightly or wrongly, Ferry and his clan as spoilt 'toffs'? pensively, - ---joel Yahoo! Mail Stay connected, organized, and protected. I'm sad to say that lot's of people who have liked some of Ferry,Roxy's work over the years do take a dim view of Fox Hunting. It will have a minor impact on sales/concerts but most of the Hard core fans (including myself who hates Fox Hunting) will have double standards, I hope! & not allow that to stop them from hanging in there after all these years. ___________________________________________________________________________ To unsubscribe, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: unsubscribe avalon ------------------------------ End of avalon-digest V10 #117 ***************************** ======================================================================== For further info, mail majordomo@smoe.org with: info avalon-digest
