Apologies in advance to the list for the OT ramble.

Er ...I Believe it was I who started the on-list Louis XIV hype. 
Saw them again, Tuesday past, at the Bowery Ballroom here in the glamorous   
East Village, & they kicked ass (arse) even harder than at their short opening 
set last month.
Full length set included the great bottleneck guitar work-out "The Hunt"
Yes, Jason Hill is a sweetie, not at all like the jaded, drugged-out, 
misogynist, sex-crazed persona in their songs.
(Really quite a droll send-up, if you listen.)
Anyone near a venue on their present tour should run (crawl if you have to) 
to get tickets. 
Check out    www.louisxiv.net      for a free listento there entire CD, which 
unnfortunately omits The Hunt and The Grand Apartment.
THEY WILL BE MASSIVE. 

(Warning, front row fans will be doused with beer/water.)
