I've heard the track "Fistfull Of Love" by Antony And The Johnsons, and what the music reviewers say is true. His voice DOES sound like a cross between prime Bryan Ferry (esp. the vibrato) and Nina Simone. The track has some nicely understated saxophone too. Recommended. I got and liked that EP last week. HAD to go see Louis XIV last night at the Bowery Ballroom here in NYC, By all means check out the EP, and the "album" out in a couple of weeks. Sound and sensibility somewhat like Ziggy-era Bowie, mascara and all. There is the inevitable website, louisxiv.net On tour, in Philly tonigh and at 9:30 Club in DC the day after, as supporting act to Hot Hot Heat-on a US & Canada tour. ( for the DC contingent on list, and yes, Texas they are enroute) Great bunch of guys, friendly and quite surprised that the local fossils (I think you Brits onlist might say pensioners) play their stuff. I think they will be massive.
