(cups hand to ear to hear the reply)? Which reminds me, watched "Frances" on DVD last night, the one with Jessica Lange, based on Frances Farmer's multiple personality disorder and the brutality of psychiatric care. Did you see the picture of our erstwhile hero in the Daily Mail p35 yesterday ? Although not helped by the cutting & pasting employed the height of the quiff was undeniable. Given that the article was about him being targeted by anti hunt campaigners it was interesting that he had a dead animal on his head. Perhaps Otis shot it. Worryingly uncool for such a prisoner of perfection. 2. Icehouse sounded so like Roxy that I have tried to buy something with Hey Little Girl on it. Can't find it though. Apart from the stunning title track I remember being a bit disappointed by that album back in, oh 1998? When you listen to 'His 'n Hers', you'll find lots of Roxyesque synth lines and beeps - that album has a great atmosphere, and Jarvis is 'doing a Bry' here and there as well. The 'Babies' EP had a bonus track called 'seconds', which I think would have been an excellent track for Roxy Music, as the influence is more than evident.
