[KWil632057@aol.com] [AVALON] Detroit 2001 - offer to USA ["Judy Kaufman" Subject: [AVALON] Detroit 2001 - offer to USA Hello to all, I received this set today (thanks Arnie!) and am reoffering to USA residents. I will make up to 5 sets. Please let me know if you are willing to reoffer to this list. If you don't hear back from me, the five have been taken. This offer is for B&P or trade. Here is the info from the original offer: I've been offlist for awhile so don't know if this has gone around before but now, more than 3 years after I began looking for this souvenir, I have received a 2 cd set of Roxy Music's July 29, 2001 gig at DTE Energy Music Theater, outside of Detroit. Words of caution: First of all, it appears to me that the middle chunk of this concert (Oh Yeah, Both Ends Burning, Tara,) is missing. Tape changeover, inadvertance, whatever, it ain't on the cds. Also, a bad segue into "Dance Away". Second, at times the sound is pretty good, considering it's a bootleg, although not as good as the Chicago and NYC 2001 bootlegs by a long shot. At other times people in the vicinity of the microphone are just jabbering away like they're at a backyard party and Roxy sounds like background music so you'll just have to grind your teeth and bear it.
